Spatial Analysis has been used since the early 1990's for rural cadastral models. Nowadays, it is necessary to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Cartography as well as dedicated software in order to solve problems in Cadastral Models. Among these models, the selection and priorítization of the parameters affecting the rural property valuation assets, as well as the zoning optimization (homogeneous sectors) within a community, are one of the biggest concems for Cadastral Agencies. This research is focused on rural property in the Región of Murcia, in accordance with data recorded from 2007 to 2009. The techniques used for the spatial zoning were carried out by means of IDW (Inverse Distance Weighting) and kriging interpolators as they are the most widely used in spatial varíation analysis studies. Although both interpolators produced similar results, IDW was better for predicting varíation in "Unit Príces". Afterwards, a statistical study was later completed using ANOVA, Chi-Squared and Correspondence Analysis procedures. The research results demónstrate the consistency of the parameters that have been used in the Cadastral Agencies, and the degree of involvement of these parameters in assessing the results of unit pnces for different áreas. A study has been carried out of the fisheries diversification projects in Spain during the period 2007-14, most of which were founded through Axis 4 of the European Fisheries Fund (EFF). On the one hand, the investments have been classified by areas of diversification in order to know how and where investment has been made and the quantities involved. On the other hand, the effectiveness of the different projects has been analysed from the point of view of the Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs) managers.The results of this analysis may be useful for designing future diversification strategies in rural coastal areas, as well as for implementing similar strategies in other countries.
Diversification of fisheries has one of its main lines of development in tourism, especially in countries as touristic as Spain. An important part of the European Fisheries Funds (EFFs) has subsidized, through the Fisheries Local Action Groups, local development projects in fishing zones with a large part of these projects related to tourism, including nautical tourism. In this new context it is possible to quantify and analyse the subsidized projects’ typology and the relationship between recreational and professional fishing. This work analyses 705 projects financed by European funds, mainly the EFF, of which 172 are related to tourism and 48 to nautical tourism. The objective is to categorize and characterize the subsidized projects and, subsequently, to verify the degree of relationship, if any, between the projects of nautical tourism and professional fishing.
