Professional teachers are not only required to master the fields of science, teaching materials, learning methods, and student motivation. They have high skills and broad insight into the world of education. This is inseparable from the guidance of a supervisor. Supervision is carried out to form and improve abilities in the teaching and learning process. Maintenance can help enhance teachers' professional skills so that teachers can carry out the teaching and learning process that they do in class well. Besides that, a teacher can also act as a professional educator in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in guiding and teaching, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, and good communication. This article aims to describe the role of the principal as a supervisor to assist the teaching profession. The research method used in this article is a qualitative method with a case study approach.
This article aims to develop a Civics module with Islamic values on the rights and obligations of high school students in elementary schools. This research is development research (R&D). This research uses a development research model. The steps in this research are: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) module validation, (5) module design revision, (6) limited module trial, (7 ) Revision of modules, (8) The final product of the Civics module has Islamic values that meet the valid and practical criteria. The development process includes product design and product validation. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the PPKn module has Islamic value. The material of rights and obligations developed has met the very valid criteria. This is evidenced by the average results of expert validation of 96% and 90% with very valid criteria. The Civics module has Islamic values. The material of Rights and Obligations developed has met the practical criteria. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire from the small group trial. The score is 86.34% with very practical criteria. From the small group trial, it was concluded that the module developed was very valid and practical.
The aims of the study were to determine the effect of the student facilitator and explaining learning model and to determine the improvement of students' skills in the ability to explore law enforcement material in Indonesia at the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program FKIP UMSU 2018-2019 academic year. The first semester student population of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program FKIP UMSU 2018-2019 amounted to 82 students consisting of 2 classes, namely class A morning, B morning, the sample of study was Random sampling. This study used an experimental method with two-group post-test and only design. The normality test of the experimental class showed sig. 0.031 and the control class showed sig. 0.061. Homogeneity test, for the experimental class was 0.797 and the control class was 0.524. Test the effect / linearity for the experimental class and the control group 0.00, which meant that there was an influence between the experimental model and the control model on student exploration, the influence of an experimental model to the exploration was 63.6%. While the control model was 27.4%.
Mitra yang dilibatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah 2 sekolah mitra UMSU, yakni SD Negeri 067775 Medan Kec.Medan Johor dan SD Negeri 064034 Medan Kec.Medan Johor. Kontribusi yang diharapkan dari dua sekolah mitra tersebut adalah menyediaan kelas yang akan di dampingi dalam pembuatan pojok baca kelas. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada sekolah mitra dan soulsinya adalah menanggapi masih rendahnya minat baca anak, pemerintah mencanangkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Program ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan minat baca pada para siswa juga untuk membangun iklim literasi di sekolah. Tetapi, belum semua sekolah mampu menjalankan GLS sesuai dengan pedoman yang diberikan. Masalahnya diantaranya adalah sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, bahan bacaan yang terbatas, waktu membaca yang terbatas. Solusi yang tim kami tawarkan adalah dari kondisi ini maka pembuatan pojok baca untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa di sekolah diharapkan mampu meningkatkan daya tarik siswa untuk lebih sering membaca. Dan nantinya kami akan menyumbangkan buku-buku pelajaran yang bermanfaat bagi peserta didik agar semangat membaca peserta didik lebih tinggi. Tujuan dari Program Kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk mengembangkan literasi membaca pada siswa di UPT Sekolah Dasar dalam mencanangkan GLS melalui bukubuku dan pohon baca yang diberikan tim PKM ke Sekolah mitra masingmasing. Kegiatan dalam pendampingan pembuatan pojok baca kelas ini adalah nantinya akan di lakukan oleh tim dan guru kelas 5 dikedua SD Negeri tersebut, mulai dari menyiapkan kelas yang nantinya akan di buat pojok baca kelas, bahanbahan yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan pojok baca, bukubuku yang akan disumbangkan, serta peran guru didalam pendampingan nantinya. Tim juga akan menyumbangkan buku-buku jenjang pendidikan dasar dan buku-buku dongeng cerita rakyat untuk memenuhi rak buku yang akan dibuat pada pojok baca nantinya. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini diharapkan nantinya pojok baca yang telah dibuat akan dicontoh oleh guru-guru di kelas lain dan bukubuku yang disumbangkan nantinya akan bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa serta sekolah.
This study aims to determine the process of planting and growing mustard bok choy through hydroponics. Hydroponics is a system of cultivating plants without using soil as a medium for growing plants. Provision of nutrients needed for hydroponic cultivation of plants, essential nutrients both macro, and micro. Bok choy is a plant that has high economic value. The planting of bok choy mustard is carried out in Tanjung Balai City, Teluk Nibung District, Struggle Village. The process of planting mustard bok choy is carried out in the area where the researcher lives in June due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The time for planting mustard bok choy is carried out for approximately 40 days until the harvest. The interaction between the concentration of nutrients and the type of mustard affects the growth of mustard bok choy. The nutrients used for planting mustard bok choy are AB Mix nutrients. This study showed that the concentration of AB Mix nutrients given to the growth of mustard bok choy grew hydroponically
