Polyphenyl derivatives Q 0700Aqueous Suzuki Coupling Reaction Catalyzed by Water-Soluble Diimine/Pd(II) Systems. -The Suzuki cross coupling reaction of aryl bromides (I) and chlorides (IV) with arylboronic acids (II) is catalyzed by arylsulfonate-containing diimine-Pd(II) complexes in DMA or aqueous solution. A wide range of substituents is tolerated, although the reaction is not effective for deactivated aryl chlorides [cf. (Vc)]. Catalyst loadings as low as 0.01 mol% can be applied in aqueous solution. -(ZHOU, J.; GUO, X.; TU, C.; LI, X.; SUN*, H.; J.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
