Bullying has happened in the diverse level of schools in Indonesia. This detrimental act certainly has a fatal impact on victims of bullying in the form of loss of confidence, social disability, worry, and possibly physical disturbances. The purpose of this study was to examine the implications of bullying for teachers and students at a junior high school in Indonesia, as well as the teacher's role in fighting bullying behaviour. This study uses a mixed method design with a non-probability sampling technique and quota sampling strategy. This study used questionnaires and interviews to gather information about bullying and the role of the teachers at that school in responding to such an act. The findings revealed two important issues as follows, a) Bullying of students is included in the mild criteria, namely 90.9% or 170 students, moderate, namely 8.0% or 15 students, and severe, namely 1.1%. or 2 students, and b) The teacher's role in preventing bullying is to provide supervision, guide, give advice and strengthen students' self-confidence so that they can overcome incidents or problems involving bullying to reduce bullying at school. This study indicates some implications regarding the preventive actions that school policy should apply to protect their pupils from experiencing bullying.
The use of online learning resources has a significant influence on student learning needs, especially with the distance learning system implemented at SMA Negeri 3 Palu, including the selection of student learning resources. The implementation of community service aims to provide knowledge to students in the context of utilizing online history learning resources KITLV, Delpher Kranten and Beeldbank in history learning class X SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This service activity was attended by history teachers and students, they were very enthusiastic in participating in the service activities. The resulting output is the knowledge of students and teachers regarding online learning resources that can be used for further learning activities.
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salahsatu cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh setiap guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan praktek mengajarnya, serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Melalui melakukan PTK juga dapat membantu guru dalam kepengurusan kepangkatan khususnya bagi yang sudah Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS). Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan PTK.bagi guru sejarah di SMA Negeri 7 Palu. Luaran pengabdian yang dihasilkan adalah, pertama kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan berlangsung secara baik dan lancar. Kedua, peserta pengabdian sudah dapat menyusun proposal PTK. Ketiga, melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini nantinya akan mempermudah guru untuk mempublikasikan karya ilmiahnya melalui PTK yang sudah dilakukan.
In the last few years, the discussion about local wisdom has become an interesting issue. Local wisdom can affect social interaction, especially in education. The existing condition of an area affects the local wisdom adopted by the people living in that area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of local wisdom on integrated social studies learning. The research location is in Napu Valley, Poso Regency. The area has unique characteristics both the social conditions of the people and the existing conditions of the region. Napu Valley is a valley between hills in the central part of Central Sulawesi Province. The techniques of data collection are literature studies, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research method used descriptive methods that describe the relationship between local wisdom factors with integrated social studies learning through related data collection. The results indicated that the characteristics of local wisdom have a close and moderate relationship between social studies learning with a value of correlation cooeficient (r2) of 0.62 in Lore Utara Sub-district. 0.76 in Lore Peore Sub-district, and 0.53 in Lore Utara Sub-district. This study aims to produce KKNI-oriented learning tools assisted by the Synectic Model in the Indonesian society studies course, a university in Indonesia's history education program. This research was carried out in the sixth semester using Educational Research which was adapted from the development model according to Borg Gall, which consisted of six stages: a preliminary study, planning stage, and drafting stage for learning device products KKNI-oriented, assisted by a synectic model, the product validation stage, the revision stage, and product testing, as well as the dissemination stage. The trial subjects of the KKNI-oriented learning device assisted by the Synectic model in the Indonesian society study course were 43 students in that study program. The results of the research are: (1) KKNI-oriented learning tools assisted by a synectic model of Indonesian society studies courses have been produced in a very good category based on the results of product validation by four expert lecturers and the results of student response questionnaires, and (2) KKNI-oriented learning devices assisted by Synectic models in Indonesian society studies courses are effectively used in learning, especially to train students’ creative thinking skills.
