During the year 54+ % of all cases of tubercular disease were discharged with the disease "arrested." Thirtyone minus per cent were discharged as improved, some of these just falling short of total arrest of disease. Nine per cent were not improved. Five minus per cent of doubtful cases which for one reason and another did not give positive proof of the presence of tubercular disease although showing very suspicious signs, were discharged " apparently well," and were not included among the tubercular cases.
