This study aimed to analyze the meaning of love for the homeland from time to time, the concept of world citizenship, global citizenship, and cosmopolitanism in the global era, and analyze the urgency of patriotism education in the global era. This study used a qualitative method by explaining the feelings and ideas of the informants regarding the occurrence of a specific behaviour or symptom. The meaning of love for the homeland had shifted from ancient times, medieval times, to modern times. In ancient times, love for the homeland was regional; in the Middle Ages, it was personal; while in modern times, it was more national and national. The concepts of global citizenship, global citizenship, and cosmopolitanism in the global era showed connectivity and interdependence between humans in all parts of the world. The urgency of patriotism education in the global era was related to providing learning materials about global citizenship education or global citizenship education to instil awareness of universal humanitarian issues.
Is education on theological virtues and moral virtues still relevant to help victims of sexual violence? This article was written to see the importance of education on theological and moral virtues to help victims of sexual violence. The method used for research includes descriptive qualitative research which is carried out by combining field research and literature. Based on the research conducted, it was found that all respondents stated that education on theological virtues and moral virtues was still relevant to helping sufferers because of sexual violence. Therefore, a concept of personal theological and moral virtue is needed as a strategy to maintain and develop the integrity of creation and to experience oneself as the image of God.
This paper describes how the people of Caben, Bantul, Yogyakarta, were able to carry out the crisis of earthquake on May 27, 2006. It happened because of their hopes and submission to God. These attitudes have been refined through spreading love and solidarity between people. This research found that love and solidarity cannot be separated from the virtue of hope and faith. These two essential virtues are very important for those who suffer from a disaster. Learning from the people of Caben, Bantul, this paper considers that a hopeful community could be constructed by spreading love and solidary. Social encounters and cooperation must be continuously preserved to make social cohesion and network. It represents a thankful behavior toward the mercy of God. It is always relevant to have such a hopeful community here in Indonesia as the country of disaster.
Pandemi Corona Virus Disease – 19 (COVID-19) yang masuk ke Indonesia pada bulan Februari 2021 telah menyebabkan seluruh kegiatan manusia dibatasi dan memaksa orang untuk menerapkan gaya hidup new normal. Kegiatan di luar rumah termasuk ibadah di Gereja ikut terdampak dengan adanya aturan pemerintah mengenai pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat. Gereja diminta untuk membatasi kehadiran pengunjung atau jemaat dalam sebuah ibadah sehingga diperlukannya sebuah sistem yang membantu pengurus Gereja mengatur kehadiran jemaat. Pembangunan website dibuat dengan metode SDLC Waterfall dalam bentuk website yang dapat diakses oleh jemaat, aktivis pelayanan, dan pengurus Gereja. Website dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Javascript dan PHP. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan kepada 30 responden yang terdiri dari 14 orang pengurus Gereja dan 16 orang jemaat dari beberapa Gereja Kristen Protestan, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar responden merasa bahwa sistem yang dibuat membantu jemaat dan pengurus Gereja mengelola data ibadah pada masa pandemi.Kata Kunci: pandemi, ibadah, Gereja, web, sistem informasi
