A new technique for handling fuzzy decision-making problems concerning two kinds of uncertainty is introduced, which supplies a more efficient tool for the building of some expen systems. It uses a similarity measure of fuzzy sets and threshold A to determine whether a rule should be fired, and a modification function MF is used to modify the deduced consequent. The strength of cc~nfir-mation CF of every production rule, which is given by a system or experts, is different and is used to modify the consequent once more. Finally, an efficient algorithm is proposed and some numerical examples are presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
