The electromagnetic form factors of deuteron are investigated on hybrid quarkhadron model, where meson exchange and six-quark clusters are taken into account. It is found that pion-recoil current and six-quark clusters have important effects on charge form factor, magnetic structure function and tensor polarization, which are all sensitive to the interaction between nucleons. The theoretical predictions agree well with new experimental data.
Based on the many-body perturbation theory and cloudy bag model, the long range part of the nuclear force is discussed. The results show that it agrees with one-pion exchange-potential in respect of both the radial dependence and the strength.
Some serious difficulties encountered in the usual Cranking Shell Model may be overcome in the Particle-Number-Conserving treatment for the cranking Hamiltonian. The variation of the K-structure of low-lying bands with the rotational frequency is investigated.
The ratio of the deuteron structure function W1/W2 in deuteron electrodisintegration in the threshold region has been calculated by using the hybrid quark-hadron model, including isoscalar MEC. Our investigation shows that isoscalar MEC and six-quark cluster have large effects on W1/W2.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
