Hierarchical MnCo2S4 nanotubes have been successfully prepared via a facile self‐template approach. The as‐prepared hierarchical MnCo2S4 nanotubes are evaluated as electrode materials for supercapacitors, which exhibits a specific capacitance of 705.2 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 and a remarkable cycling performance. Moreover, the hierarchical MnCo2S4 nanotubes are also applied in non‐enzymatic glucose sensors, which possesses good electrocatalytic performances with a low determination limit (0.1 μM) and good selectivity. In addition, yolk‐shelled MnCo2O4 prisms were also prepared via the self‐template method. The electrochemical performance of the yolk‐shelled MnCo2O4 prisms were also studied. It is found that the as‐prepared hierarchical MnCo2S4 nanotubes show better electrochemical performances than yolk‐shelled MnCo2O4 in this work.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
