Extension and Advisory Service (EAS) providers are linkage between farmers and governance. The world is still facing the problem of malnutrition, in order to combat it Nutrition- Sensitive Agriculture (NSA) is foreseen as one of the greatest solutions. To implement the NSA up to grass root level the most connected points are EAS providers, whereas to assess their knowledge in this regard this Knowledge Assessment with Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture Scale (KANSAS) will be a tool. KANSAS will measure the EAS knowledge on 9 important dimensions of NSA and training priorities. This will help in the tailoring of specific training programs according to the lacking and felt priorities of EAS providers based on the final score classification. So that the government programs can be target oriented in saving the time and energy which helps in the reaching the goal of ‘nourished population’. This scale can be adopted to both developed and developing countries wherein EAS providers used as communication medium to achieve the sustainable developmental goals (SDGs).
