Implantation of endovascular covered stents is an effective and safe method for the percutaneous closure of pseudoaneurysms and arteriovenous fistulas. Thus, endoluminal vascular repair with covered stents offers an alternative therapeutic approach to vascular surgery in selected patients.
Our data suggest that Helios-expressing Foxp3(+) Treg with functional suppressive capacity and migratory potential into inflamed tissues are expanded in active SLE, presumably through γ-chain signalling cytokines and TCR stimulation, to compensate for autoreactive effector responses.
Stand-alone ALIF leads to better clinical results than APLF, without differences in fusion rates after 41 months. Therefore, when a posterior approach is not needed for decompression or reposition, we suggest performing a stand-alone ALIF in cases with single-level DDD.
