A study conducted by the World Bank on Ease of Doing Business for starting a business shows that the business environment in Indonesia is still not conducive to the growth of the trade and industry sector because of the high cost of starting and operating a business. This is because Indonesia faces many problems of formality and complicated procedures that need to be passed, especially in starting a new business. The research objective is to conduct an empirical study of ease doing business, especially starting a business in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Eastern Indonesia Region. The study was conducted in 12 districts/cities in North Sulawesi Province. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative method to several businesses in the form of interviews. The results show that there has been a positive change in ease of doing business especially starting a business in this region.
The problem in North Sulawesi is the lack of innovation and creativity of the younger generation, especially in establishing business and creating innovative and creative products and services. The importance of this problem is because young people who can set up a business and create innovative products and services will drive the innovation economy in North Sulawesi. To be able to drive the innovation-based economy it is necessary to create many innovative entrepreneurs, especially those based on local resources such as the marine industry, fisheries, and tourism. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence the intentions of young people to pursue innovative and creative entrepreneurs based on local resources. The model analyzed includes internal factors, attitude factors towards entrepreneurship and contextual factors. This study involved a sample of 200 young generation respondents in North Sulawesi obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The research method is quantitative with the regression analysis and hypothesis testing t-test and F-test. The results of the study that several factors influence the intention of innovative entrepreneurs in the younger generation.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, internal locus of control dan eksternal locus of control terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai PT. Angkasa pura support di Manado. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 147 dengan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 80 sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, metode pengumupulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan angket. Selanjutanya data diolah melalui software SPSS 24. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji hipotesis f dan t, koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai PT. Angkasa pura support di Manado, secara parsial internal locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai PT. Angkasa pura support di Manado, secara parsial eksternal locus of control berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai PT. Angkasa pura support di Manado dan secara simultan kepuasan kerja internal locus of control dan eksternal locus of control berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai PT. Angkasa pura support di Manado. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perusahaan sebaiknya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, internal locus of control dan eksternal locus of control yang ada sehingga akan meningkatkan prestasi kerja.Kata kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Internal Locus of Control, Eksternal Locus of Control, Prestasi Kerja.
Top of FormThe main question in this study is whether the provision of compensation affect the discipline of work, especially on the study staff at the Faculty of Economics and Business UNSRAT. Based on the background and the formulation of the above problems, this study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation on the discipline of employee work studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business UNSRAT. Researchers took data using questionnaires on the civil servants of the study of Faculty of Economics and Business UNSRAT which amounted to 41 people. The research variable that the adoptive researcher is compensation and work discipline with primary data collected through questionnaire and using quantitative descriptive analysis technique. For simple linear regression test found value of constant equal to 7,686 which mean when giving of compensation (X) equal to zero hence work discipline (Y) equal to 7,686. Regression coefficient value found at 0.619 positive value so it can be concluded that the compensation has a positive effect on work discipline. The value of regression coefficient also shows if the variable implication of compensation increases 1 unit then the work discipline will rise by 0.619. The value of correlation coefficient of 0.624 menunujukkan there is a strong relationship between the two variables with the value of coefficient of determination of 0.389 which means the variable implications of compensation affect 38.9% of the discipline of work. The researcher then tested the hypothesis by looking at the value of T arithmetic and found 4.983 which is much higher than the value of T table for n 41 of 1.638 so it can be concluded that Ha accepted and H0 rejected or in other words the Implication of Compensation (X) Work Discipline (Y). Through the process of collecting data and testing with quantitative methods the researcher then concluded that the implication of compensation has a positive and significant effect to the work discipline on civil servant studies in the Faculty of Economics and Business UNSRAT.Bottom of FormKeyword : Implication, Compensation, Work Discipline, Civil Servant
