A promising printed slot antenna for seven-band operation applied in the mobile phone has been proposed, covering GSM85019001 DCSI800lPCSI9 00IUMTS21 OOlLTE230012500The antenna comprises an inverted-L-shaped slot and three open-ended monopole slots, which are integrated into a compact configuration to occupy a small area 0/15x40 mm2 in the back side if the system circuit board A 50-.Q microstrip fled line is conducted to excite the antenna, which is printed on the top side 0/ the PCB The proposed antenna is tested, and good radiation peljOrmances are obtained Keywortis-MoIJile antenna, printed slot antenna, WWAN/LTE operation
This paper proposes a planar printed ultra-wideband antenna for eight-band LTEIGSMIUMTS WWAN wireless USB dongle applications. An inductive shorted strip with a chip capacitor loaded is employed in order to improve the characteristics if small-size terminal antennas which usually have a narrow band over the lTE700lGSM850 190 0 (698-960 MHz) and DCSI800lPCSI90 0 IUMTS2100ll TE230012500 (1710-2690 MHz) operation. Easily printed on a 08-mm thick FR4 dielectric substrate o/size 20 x 70 mm the proposed antenna structure occupies a compact size if 20xJ9 mm2 Then the proposed design can be attached to laptop computer by the USB inteljace. The proposed antenna isfobricated and tested, and good radiation peljarmances if the .fobricated antenna are obtained Keywortk-surfaee-lIIO unted printed IIIIten na; wireless lISB dongle antenna,· eltip eopoeitllll ee em!Jedded 1.
