We experienced a case of a pregnant woman who failed to obtain a result from NIPT, due to the high level of total cell-free DNA. A subsequent ultrasound examination discovered that the fetus had severe intrauterine growth restriction, so the woman decided to abort the baby. At the same time, the woman developed slight swelling and tenderness of the proximal interphalangeal and meta-carpophalangeal joints. With the application of virtual reality in assembly, a completely new training means can be now used in the equipment maintenance training. The key techniques of virtual assembly system for equipment maintenance training (VASEMT) are introduced from four aspect in this paper. They are the virtual equipment modeling, the vstereo display of virtual environment, the human-computer interaction based on the data glove and 3-D spatial compound collision detection.Equipment maintenance training is a critical factor that the new equipment can bring its battle effectiveness into full play. Restricted in the amount and the complexity of new equipment, the traditional training methods of using actual equipment can't meet the requirements of the training. On the other hand, the training means of actual equipment may lead to the man-made failures with new equipment. So, the new training means must be used.Virtual reality has provided a completely new means for the weapon equipment maintenance training. Servicemen can work in the virtual environment produced by computer and acquire the same experience just as from the actual equipment. The training mode can be used again and again without being restricted by the amount and the complexity of new equipment to reduce the training cost of new equipment immensely. Meanwhile, this is of much importance to the servicemen's quality and training level.With the help of WorldToolKit ( WTK ), we establish VASEMT in Windows NT by using VC++. VASEMT, which is composed of INTERGRAPH graphic workstation, CRT RGB projector, six-degree-of-freedom tracking instrument, data glove, 3-D Mouse and stereo glasses. The stereo display of virtual environment has been realized in the system. Servicemen can perform a real-time interaction with virtual equipment by data glove. The key techniques of VASEMT are mainly introduced as following.
