Under the supervision of a MET, in our institution NIV could be applied in a wide variety of settings, outside the ICU, with a high success rate and with few complications.

Bor‐basierte Variante: Die Kombination von Indium(I)‐chlorid mit einem chiralen Silberbinolphosphat liefert einen exzellenten Katalysator für die asymmetrische Hosomi‐Sakurai‐Reaktion zwischen N,O‐Aminalen und Boronaten (siehe Schema; PG=Schutzgruppe, pin=Pinakolato). Aromatische, heteroaromatische und aliphatische N,O‐Aminale sowie Allyl‐ und Allenylboronate werden umgesetzt.
