T he possibility of experim ental detection of the diffracted channeling rad iatio n w ith th e energy 1 5 ...4 0 M eV for the conditions of the m icrotron of RIN P, MSU. We propose a new way of o rientation of th e crystal according to the radiation yield under channeling on th e electronic accelerators of th e average energies w ith th e short tim e of the acceleration cycle and dropping of th e electrons to th e ta rg e t (m icrotron, linear accelerator) by th e integral characteristics of the soft radiation yield from th e th in m etal targets. It provides th e te n tim es reduction of tim e spending on th e orientation. T he m ain p a rt of necessary experim ental equipm ent is prepared and te st m easurem ents are taken.
The dependence of the characteristics of X-ray radiation occurring under fast electron transmis sion through a crystal on a sample structure has been analyzed. A method to estimate the size of the crystal microblocks by means of the yield ratio of the parametric X-ray radiation and diffracted bremsstrahlung and transition radiation for different observation angles has been suggested. The possibility of estimating the dimension of the microblocks using the ratio of the intensities of these emission mechanisms for the same observation angle and several reflection orders has been discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
