The results of testing and characterisation of the neutron
spectrometer based on a diamond detector are presented. It is shown
that spectrometer calibration with monoenergetic electrons and
alpha-particles leads to different results. The energy resolution of
the spectrometer is estimated based on the experiments with
alpha-particles and with DT-neutrons from NG-150M neutron
generator. It has been shown experimentally that for neutrons with
an energy of 14 MeV the energy resolution of a diamond-based
spectrometer is 0.6%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
