This article aims to propose some hygienic and environmental measures for the rehabilitation of the air basin in the municipality based on a study of air pollution and its impact on the health of the population. The complex of activities is aimed at installation of efficient treatment facilities in various industrial enterprises; reconstruction of the heating installations and introduction of the use of electric current for heating during the winter months; accelerating the gasification process; public works, including landscaping of more areas in the city; optimal reorganization of automobile traffic and moving the car traffic out of the city.
