Last year's Eurocorr conference took place at the World Trade Centre in Moscow from 13 to 17 September 2010. The focus of the meeting was 'From the Earth's depths to Space heights'. The meeting attracted over 600 delegates and over 300 papers and 200 posters were presented during the 30 sessions and workshops. Part 1 of the report, published in the February issue, reviewed the opening and plenary lectures and technical sessions on automotive corrosion, environmentally sensitive fracture, corrosion and scale inhibition and nuclear corrosion. Part 2 reviewed technical sessions on coatings, corrosion of archaeological and heritage artefacts, high temperature corrosion by hot gases and corrosion products, joint workshop on materials and disinfection, corrosion and corrosion prevention in drinking water systems, marine corrosion and corrosion in natural environments. Part 3 reviewed microbiological corrosion, oil and gas, refinery and mechanisms and methods. The final part of the report reviews the remaining technical sessions on corrosion and corrosion protection in the aerospace industry, cathodic protection and corrosion and concrete.
