Studies on cyclic heat treatment of steel samples at different temperature conditions were performed to increase their abrasive wear resistance. It was found, that cyclic heating of parts made of steel 65G to a temperature of 450 °С increases their wear resistance by 40 % in comparison with traditional induction hardening.
