The phase composition of massive titanium preforms obtained using oxidative constructing of thin walled ceramics (OCTC) selected from the exponential section of the kinetic oxidation curve is investi gated. It is demonstrated with the help of X ray phase analysis (XPA) that the phase composition of the pre form at the oxidation temperature of 875°C represents a number of oxygen and nitrogen based solid solu tions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
