This paper discusses a method of constructing television cameras that use image stabilization based on a direct method of measuring the image displacement relative to a photodetector array by means of two supplementary orthogonal linear photodetectors. It is shown that the proposed approach makes it possible in the parabolic approximation of the correlation function to substantially expand the range of velocities of the viewing axis for which motion distortions are masked by noise. An important task of video informatics is to obtain images of the highest quality when the image is in motion. The approach to the description of various forms of motion of the object and the observer in this case has varied during the development of technologies and concepts. Several characteristic, time-overlapping stages in the construction of video information systems can be distinguished: 727
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
