Laju peningkatan produktivitas tanaman padi di Provinsi Bengkulu cenderung melandai, hal ini kemungkinan disebabkan oleh pengelolaan lahan secara intensif dan terus menerus akan mengakibatkan penurunan kesuburan dan sifat fisik tanah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan system usahatani integrasi padi dan sapi yang mengelola dan memanfaatkan limbah pertanian untuk dapat digunakan kembali ke tanaman dan ternak, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan pendapatan petani melalui pengembangan system dan usaha agribisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usahatani sistem integrasi serta menghitung kontribusi usahatani padi sawah dan sapi potong terhadap sistem integrasi di Kelurahan Rimbo Kedui Kabupaten Seluma. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Metode Studi Kasus. Teknik analisa data menggunakan fungsi pendapatan serta persentase untuk menghitung kontribusi pendapatan usahatani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usahatani integrasi sebesar Rp 72.209.416,69 / tahun, dengan kontribusi usahatani padi sebesar 28,38 persen, sedangkan kontribusi dari usahaternak sapi potong sebesar 71,62 persen.
The community service aims to empower the pineapple farmers (Ananas comosus L.) in Ngancar and Plosoklaten Districts, Kediri Regency, by improving cultivation technology to produce higher quality fresh fruit and diversifying post-harvest products to add various marketable products. Farmers need for pineapple seeds that have not been met and improper plant cultivation technology were some of problems faced by farmers in this area. In addition, superior varieties developed are still limited, hence choices in improving quality are limited. Farmers limited knowledge on the post-harvest technology in pineapple cultivation has caused the farmers have no other choice but to market their products only in the form of fresh fruit. Part of the plant which is prioritized for production was only the fruit, there has not been any innovation in utilizing other plant parts such as pineapple leaves as raw material for pineapple fiber industry. In this community service, counseling has been successfully conducted on the selection of pineapple seedlings and superior varieties, improvement of pineapple plant maintenance and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). Implementation of community service started with socialization and counseling on the selection of pineapple seedlings and superior varieties, improvement of pineapple plant maintenance and PGPR. In addition, practice and assistance were carried out in the characterization and selection of superior varieties of pineapple seedlings. The result obtained is that the partner community is able to apply pineapple plant cultivation technology in an integrated manner. Keywords: Pineapple, extension, seeds, superior varieties. ABSTRAK Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah pemberdayaan kelompok tani Langgeng Mulyo nanas (Ananas comosus L.) di Kecamatan Ngancar dan Plosoklaten, Kabupaten Kediri dengan cara perbaikan teknologi budidaya untuk menghasilkan buah segar yang lebih berkualitas dan diversifikasi produk pasca panen untuk menambah berbagai produk yang bisa dipasarkan. Permasalahan pada Kelompok Tani di Kecamatan Ngancar dan Kecamatan Plosoklaten, Kabupaten Kediri, antara lain adalah kebutuhan bibit nanas yang belum dapat dipenuhi dan teknologi budidaya tanaman nanas yang kurang tepat. Varietas unggul yang dikembangkan masih terbatas sehingga pilihan dalam perbaikan kualitas menjadi terbatas. Keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang teknologi pasca panen pada pelaku budidaya nanas menyebabkan pelaku budidaya tidak mempunyai pilihan lain selain memasarkan produk hanya dalam bentuk buah segar. Bagian tanaman yang diutamakan produksinya hanya pada bagian buah, belum terdapat inovasi memanfaatkan bagian tanaman yang lain seperti daun nanas sebagai bahan baku industri serat nanas. Pada pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan penyuluhan mengenai seleksi bibit nanas dan varietas unggul, perbaikan pemeliharaan tanaman nanas dan Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacter (PGPR). Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan diawali dengan sosialisasi dan penyuluhan tentang seleksi bibit nanas dan varietas unggul, perbaikan pemeliharaan tanaman nanas dan PGPR. Selain itu dilakukan praktek dan pendampingan dalam karakterisasi dan seleksi bibit nanas varietas unggul. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah masyarakat mitra mampu menerapkan teknologi budidaya tanaman nanas secara terpadu. Kata kunci: Nanas, penyuluhan, bibit, varietas unggul.
Objectives of the research were (1) find out the effect of biofertilizer on growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), (2) find out the ability of biofertilizer in combinations of different doses of NPK against productivity of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.).The research was conducted at Merjosari, Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Malang from November 2016 to February 2017. The research used Randomized Block Design (RBD), as well as 7 treatments and 4 replications for each treatment. Treatments of the research included P0 (Control), P1 (NPK 100 %), P2 (Biofertilizer 100 %), P3 (Biofertilizer 100 % + NPK 25 %), P4 (Biofertilizer 100 % + NPK 50 %), P5 (Biofertilizer 100 % + NPK 75 %), and P6 (Biofertilizer 100 % + NPK 100 %). Parameters of the research were plant height (cm), leaf area per plant (cm 2 ), numbers of branching, numbers of fruit per plant, fresh weight of fruit (g), dry weight of fruit (g), and RAE. If any significant influence existed, it would be followed by comparative test among treatments using the Least Significant Difference (LSD) at level 5%. Results of the research showed that the application of biofertilizer solely tends to increase number of fruit and weight of fruit, but insignificant. The application of biofertilizer may increase number of fruit and weight of fruit along with the application of NPK, as shown by the application of 25% NPK, which may increase number of fruit up to 5.75 or 196 %, and weight of fruit for about 744.05 g/plant or 206 % in comparison with no application of fertilizer. Objective of the research was to study the effect mycorrhiza on growth and yield of tomato. The experiment was conducted in screen house 14 m x 10.5 m, in Pasuruan on November 2013 until March 2014, The experiment was conducted as a factorial randomized complete design. The first factor was dose of mycorrhiza (without mycorrhiza, 5 g mycorrhiza, 10 g mycorrhiza, and 20 g mycorrhiza). The second factor was the salinity stress level (without NaCl, 2500 ppm NaCl, 5000 ppm NaCl, and 7500 ppm NaCl). The results showed that salinity stress at the level 7500 ppm decreased the amount of fruit by 30.84% and fresh weight per hectare decreased by 51.72%. Mycorrhizal application was not able to increase the growth and yield in saline stress conditions; it was shown by the level of infection and the number of spores on the roots of tomato plants lower the salinity level 5000 ppm and 7500 ppm. But separately, application of 20 g mycorrhiza enhanced plant growth, such as plant height, leaf area, leaf number and proline. Application of 20 g mycorrhiza increased the yield by 35.99% Â
Desa Pagung adalah salah satu dari 12 desa yang terdapat di Kecamatan Semen, Kabupaten Kediriyang mempunyai populasi 53.092 jiwa . Sebagaimana lahan pertanian yang didominasi lahan sawah, tanaman utama di Kabupaten Kediri adalah padi sawah. Sampai dengan tahun 2017, produksi beras di Kabupaten Kediri tetap terjaga, malahan bila dibanding dengan konsumsi yang rata-rata 75,38 kg/kapita/tahun, produksi beras tetap surplus (Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan, 2017). Berdasarkan kegiatan doktor mengabdi yang telah dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan di Desa Pagung, Kecamatan Semen, Kabupaten Kediri.Kegiatan budidaya yang telah dilakukan oleh petani sudah sesuai dengan perinsip pertaanian organik yang telah ada, namun ada beberapa kegiatan yang tidak sama dengan perinsip pertanian organik yang tepat dan benar.Kata Kunci: Padi, Organik, Kontinyuitas
