We consider a modification of the method for determining the mutual time delays of signals on the basis of the joint measurement of the time and frequency shifts. The modification allows one to increase the degree of manifestation of the correlation maximum for the frequency-modulated signals. The results of studying the proposed algorithm during processing of the phase-and frequency-modulated signals under the conditions of a priori uncertainty with respect to the carrier frequency of the signals are presented.
