Persoalan sampah adalah masalah klasik yang dialami hampir seluruh kota di Indonesia bahkan di dunia. Tulisan ini hendak menggambarkan peluang keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan lain, selain pemerintah daerah dalam pengelolaan sampah di Kota Metro. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Untuk konteks kota Metro, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Metro belum maksimal dalam proses implementasi Peraturan Daerah Kota Metro Nomor 8 Tahun 2015 tentang Pengelolaan Sampah, serta minimnya keterlibatan masyarakat/komunitas dan sektor bisnis.
This paper discusses the urban waste management issues that many cities in developing countries face. Waste that is not properly managed has an impact on the quality of human health and the environment. This study takes a case study approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This case study was conducted in Metro City, an Adipura-winning city with waste management issues. Because the government has limited resources for waste management, involving the private sector and civil society is a viable option, according to the research findings. Waste management necessitates the collaboration of many parties, each with their own set of responsibilities, such as the government's regulatory and facilitation functions. Meanwhile, the private sector is split into two sections: waste management and waste management as a sponsor or donor. Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap lingkungan kerja dan menimbulkan job insecurity pada karyawan juga menurunkan komitmen karyawan terhadap organisasi, karena adanya perubahan lingkungan kerja, serta terjadinya pengurangan karyawan di beberapa perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan job insecurity terhadap komitmen organisasi pada masa pandemi Covid-19 menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian explanatory research. Teknik pengambilan sampling yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan ke 58 responden karyawan Lotte grosir Lampung, dengan menggunakan skala likert. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi. Sedangkan job insecurity tidak berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi. Lebih lanjut, variabel lingkungan kerja dan job insecurity berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap komitmen organisasi. ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic affects the work environment and cerates job insecurity for employees that simultaneously decreases employee commitment to the organization due to work environments changes and reductions of employee numbers in several companies. This study aimed to ascertain the effect of work environment and job insecurity on organizational commitment during the Covid-19 epidemic with the quantitative method and explanatory research. Purposive sampling was the technique used. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale sent to 58 respondents who work at Lotte Grosir Lampung. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in conjunction with the SPSS 20 program to conduct the study. The findings indicate that the workplace has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Job insecurity, on the other hand, has no effect on organizational commitment. Additionally, the variables of work environment and job insecurity both have an effect on organizational commitment simultaneously.
