In order to i皿 prove the 皿 arine traffic safety in narrow channels or inside ports and har − bours , the judgement criteria must be established based on the mariners ' perception of safety . In the present paper , a quantitative expression model of the mariners ' perception of safety is proposed . This model takes into account two kinds of perception of safety ; one is against the structural obstacles and the other is against the encountering ships . The extraction of mariners
In preceding report , we carried out simulation to estimate ship motion by the wind pressure when she navigate in low speed a重 harbor , and reported the process to built Supporting Infbrmation Diagram in berth − approaohing maneuver under wind effect for large container carrier .
