Advertising is now creating a need for consumers. Advertising makes the wishes and expectations of consumers as a need that must be met and how the fulfillment of course by consuming the advertised product. This study aims to determine the representation of male image contained in the ad Gatsby Styling Pomade. The type of research used is qualitative research with semiology communication approach. The focus of this study is the representation of the male image formed from the symbols contained in the ad Gatsby Styling Pomade. Analysis technique used in this research is semiotics analysis method with Roland Barthes semiotics analysis approach which has two marking level denotation and connotation and myth. In this ad shows that men should always look perfect with a proportionate body shape and a neat hair. The male image is displayed, forming the notion that men should always look stylish and cool. Penelitian ini didasarkan sebuah permaslahan bahwa metode Blended Learning bukan menjadi solusi utama pembelajaran pendidikan seni di tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Permasalahannya diantaranya yaitu kesenjangan yang menjadi isu sentral dalam pembelajaran via daring ini. Masih banyak daerah-daerah yang belum mendapat akses internet dan ketersedian perangkat teknologi (komputer dan gawai) sebagai modal utama pembelajaran daring. Di sisi lain, metode blended leraning tidak bisa sepenuhnya diterapkan secara total dalam pendidikan seni. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu kiranya perlu merumuskan ulang metode pembelajaran seni di era tatanan baru ini, pembelajaran seni tak cukup hanya mengandalkan sistem daring, karena olah rasa, olah teknis dan estetika sebagai perangkat utama pendidikan seni, membutuhkan proses pendampingan yang intens. Masalah utama yang menjadi fokus pembahasan adalah bagaimana metode penunjang Blended Learning agar dapat dimplementasikan dalam pendidikan seni. Metode penelitian ini adalah penggabungan penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dengan interpretatif analitik. Penelitian R&D adalah jenis yang berangkat dari kasus kemudian manawarkan solusi untuk pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini merumuskan sistem Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran seni perlu ditunjang setidak-tidaknya dengan metode kolaborasi dengan stakeholder. Stakeholder inilah yang memiliki peran penting dalam asupan keilmuan teknis melalui pengalaman mereka di dunia kesenimanan. Guru dan dosen pengampu utama akan berkoordinasi dengan stakeholder tentang bagaimana proses berkarya peserta didiknya, sehingga kolaborasi ini mampu memberi warna pendidikan seni semakin variatif dan humanitif.
Art and tourism rarely become concerned in a study or research. Though it is allegedly both have the power of mutual influence and profitable. Efforts have been made to make the art as a medium to develop the world of tourism but sometimes have no strategy and formulation appropriately so that the art is just a patch or entertainment when melalkukan travel. Through the study and analysis of Tallu Cappa's performances by Makassar artists Muhajir can be formulated conceptual strategy or some strategic thinking related to performing arts and tourism. Among others, 1) presentation of Multi-disciplinary Art and Innovative Packaging, 2) Collaboration of art with the concept of tourism and 3) Excavation of local Wisdom as an effort to get the aesthetic experience for tourists. Performing works of artists Muhajir perceived successfully menyjiakan concept performances with tourism segmentation. So hopefully this strategy becomes the initial basis for the development of art as an effective, innovative and cultured tourism promotion media.
Film titled Dendang Bantilang Director M. Ikhwan is one of the films that focus on cultural issues primarily in Bulukumba Regency. As a work of film, in addition to serving an aesthetic spectacle, but also showing the reality of the existence of a legend that is in the middle of a Pinisi of the current global era. This film does not only show the existence of pinisi at present, but show how urban culture contestation takes place in Bulukumba contextually. This is why the concern of this research leads to aspects of urban culture in the phenomenon in the film Dendang Bantilang. Through the method of semiotics Roland Barthes, this research found several realities behind their urban phenomenon in Bulukumba, among them: 1) the ceased of the chain of inheritance skills in the community of Bulukumba in making the pinisi ship as the main livelihood, 2) The fascination of work outside the village especially in Malaysia, and 3) The work of making Pinisi ship with a long process has an impact on the cost of wages that received late because wait for the completion of the shipbuilding. The results of the research showing the film Dendang Bantilang can be a reflection of contemplation that maintaining and harmonizing pinisi culture requires a strong and high awareness effort. Pinisi is the ancestral heritage of Indonesian culture both in form and knowledge, not to improve the flow of urban culture accompanied by the extinction of knowledge and skills about Pinisi.
The existence of ornament which adorns almost the entire walls of the tomb functions as decorative or symbolic. Ornamen provided information about the life of Raja Binamu when he was still victorious. The analysis is described in a descriptive qualitative manner with an interpretive approach. The discussion is described based on problems related to how the ornament is able to be an attraction of visitors or tourists. The scavenger began by analyzing the ornament in the tomb with Thomas Murno's ornamental composition theory which was developed in Guntur, according to Murno, organizing the composition in art works in this case there were four models of ornaments, namely: composition based on expediency, composition based on representation, composition based on expository, and thematic based composition. It also uses concepts that are based on tourism science strategies. The results obtained in the form of an understanding that the ornaments there contain two understandings, namely ornamentation as a decorative element, namely the presence of thematic repetition ornaments such as parengreng flower motifs. The symbolic ornaments explain the life and activities of kings during his life and have a moral message. Related to its potential as a tourist attraction, the presence of ornaments needs an understanding and image strategy in the form of 1) bringing up ornaments or ornaments in each of the promotional media, 2) providing information about the types of decoration or ornaments in books (booklets) tourist guides and 3 ) creating merchandise taken from ornamental motifs in the Raja Binamu tomb complex
