Globalization has provided an impact on the development of increasingly advanced technology, one of which is in the field of finance with the emergence of financial technology. There are four types of technology financial services, one of which is currently developing in Indonesia is online debt services. This study discusses the use and impact of illegal online debt services by the public. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The data were collected by conducting interviews with six selected informants using side purposive techniques. The results showed that the reason for using online debt services to pay for children's schooling, business capital, meet daily living needs, and pay previous debts. The driving factors are easy terms, fast processes, no collateral, and difficulty obtaining debt in other formal financial institutions. The impact is mainly intimidative collection and misuse of personal data to collect debts accompanied by threats that interfere with the economic, social and psychological comfort of illegal online debt borrowers.
This study examines the revised 2017 and 2018 editions of Indonesian history textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The research method uses a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach by Norman Fairclough. The research focuses on how Chinese ethnicity is in the narrative of historical textbooks. Furthermore, how are the hopes and possibilities for historical education to become a vehicle for pluralism, multicultural, and humanism education as the glue of the national spirit and strengthening of national identity? The study results show that there is still a lack of narrative about the role and contribution of the ethnic Chinese. However, it has been demanded to be bolder in exploring events related to the role and contribution of ethnicity. History textbooks as primary sources, representations, and discourses have enormous potential in fostering historical awareness, remembered history, invented history, and recovered history, which can trigger the strong roots of nationalism, including strengthening national identity based on historical facts.
A manufacturing company is a type of company that produces finished goods and sells them. The development of physical facilities has a role in facilitating and expediting the company before a business activity takes place. The development of physical facilities also needs to pay attention to the construction of physical facilities as well as the K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) aspect where the company upholds the value that employees are the company's most important asset. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing TQM on the development of physical facilities using a quantitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that TQM has an effect of 19.6% on the development of these physical facilities, so that the implementation of a good TQM system can improve the quality of work as well as the quality of the resulting buildings.
Landslide catastrophes are one of the disasters that frequently occur in Indonesia owing to the weather and climatic features, regional terrain, and geological formations that make this nation prone to landslides. The primary goal of this research is to compare the application of the fuzzy logic technique and the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) approach to landslide detection sensors based on prior research in order to identify landslide-prone locations more easily. The Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) technique analyzes the landslide area using three factors. Rainfall, land slope, and soil moisture are examples of these factors. This variable is used to assess the area's level of vulnerability to landslides: very safe, relatively safe, relatively potential, potential, and very potential. In the study, each piece of data is subjected to a training and testing procedure to identify landslide vulnerability, with the factors and weighting methods aligned with current government standards. This study compares the rules outcomes to those of past studies as well as the system results. Based on the studies findings, it can be stated that the decision support system for the degree of landslide vulnerability utilizing the ANFIS approach is superior to the fuzzy logic method, with an accuracy rate of 86.21%.
