Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan fenomenologi. Penelitian ini menentukan informan penelitian yang terkait langsung dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang dilakukan oleh BUMDES. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah proses identifikasi dan pengorganisasian data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan dan sumber lainnya. Sehingga, dapat mudah dipahami dan temuan dapat diinformasikan secara cermat kepada khalayak luas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa <em>Capacity Building</em> Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Kabupaten Sigi diukur dari unsur-unsur kapasitas, seperti pengembangan kelembagaan, <em>Capacity Building</em> sumber daya manusia dan <em>Capacity Building</em> sistem.
