International Journal of Case Reports and Images (IJCRI) is an international, peer reviewed, monthly, open access, online journal, publishing high-quality, articles in all areas of basic medical sciences and clinical specialties.Aim of IJCRI is to encourage the publication of new information by providing a platform for reporting of unique, unusual and rare cases which enhance understanding of disease process, its diagnosis, management and clinico-pathologic correlations. The lesions tend to be small and solitary, asymptomatic, and typically found in the dermis or subcutaneous tissue. They have rarely been reported as occurring in the hand. Complete excision is usually curative. However, malignant tumors have been reported, which may metastasize. Case Report: We report a case of a granular cell tumor of the hand. Conclusion: This case is of particular interest due to the atypical location, and clinical presentation, which despite its malignant potential, mimics that of more commonly encountered benign lesions such as ganglion cysts and inclusion cysts.
