[reaction: see text] The synthesis of novel substituted meso-aziridines is described: aziridination of 4-tert-butyldiphenylsilyloxy-cyclopent-1-ene is trans selective using Cu(I)/PhI=NSO(2)Ar and cis selective using PhNMe(3)(+)Br(3)(-)/Chloramine-T.
[reaction: see text] A new route to substituted cyclic allylic amines via the reductive alkylation of beta-alkoxy aziridines using excess alkyllithium reagents is described.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
