It has been an excitingly long arduous journey of about five and a half years (including a year of research conceptualisation before my PhD), ever since I set my heart and mind to complete this academic marathon. I want to thank my academic supervisor, Professor Annabel Chen, for her erudite and scholarly mentorship to help me navigate through the academic rigour that a PhD degree commands. And I want to thank my supervisor for her bravery in letting me bring my wild research idea into fruitionfrom conferring me the freedom in pursuing my research goals, conceiving an unconventional paradigm, developing an atypical (not her usual psychological) study, to conducting this research till its completion.Next, I will want to thank my thesis advisory committee members, Assistant Professor Olivia Choy, and Adjunct Associate Professor Majeed Khader, for their guidance. Also, I like to thank my Qualifying Examination panel for sharpening my research pursuit. To my external examiners (though I do not know who you are), I thank you for taking time to review my thesis. And to anyone who gets to read this little work of mine -I thank you for your time in reading and sharing my passion of translating research for credibility assessment.
