The need for contractor selection in our university education system cannot be over emphasized. And applying scientific techniques for appropriateness and accuracy in the selection process is of utmost importance. This paper identifies four main attributes that should be considered uppermost in the selection of contractors in our university system and the application of intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS using hamming distance for handling human decision problems.
