In the English teaching and learning process, there are four skills that are identified as very important; listening, speaking, reading and writing. The Indonesian government places English as a compulsory subject for junior and senior high school. But in practice, teaching English is not too maximal. Reading skills in this case reading English texts is very important because by reading it is open the opportunity to absorb other existing knowledge. Reading comprehension is an advanced level of reading skills. Senior high school students are expected to have mastered the comprehension skills of reading English texts at an advanced level. This is because most likely at the level of lectures these students are required to read English reference books. Therefore, research that reveals the problems that exist in the teaching and learning process of Reading Comprehension English texts needs to be done. Data sources were the articles about teaching English, focusing in the problem of reading comprehension. Data were words and sentences from the articles. The analysis technique used was thematic analysis. Based on the research, problem face by student in reading comprehension of English text was majoring in three theme; 1. Problems from the student self, 2. Problems from the teacher, and 3.External problems. Problems from the student self consist of three part; student basic English ability, less attraction on the subject and not motivated. Problems from the teacher were not using any method while teaching and used inappropriate method. External problems were material and environment.

This research aims to know the meaning from the semiotic signs on the movie poster. The data is collected from movie poster “the shutter island” which is taken from internet site. This study used qualitative approach since the researcher focused on identifying the sign found in the movie poster of The Shutter Island. This study applied some theories of semiotics, there are theory of sign by Saussure (1974) and some other theories such as Theory of  Colour  Term by Wierzbicka (1996) which is used for identifying the meaning of colors found in the movie poster and Verbal and Visual Aspect Theory by Dyer (1986) which applied for identifying verbal sign and visual poster in this research. It can be concluded that there are two aspects which is formulated in movie poster Shutter Island, they are verbal and visual aspect. The verbal aspect includes some categories such as the masthead which exolained who is the main character in this movie, the title of the film to inform the audience about the film, where the line on the poster inform the audience the spoiled that it was the island where once people got into that island, it could be so difficult for the to get away from the island, and it shows the date the film will be released.

Abstract. Java preanger coffee is internationally recognized as superior arabica coffee from West Java, particularly in coffee trading. The high demand and selling price of coffee has no fully supported the coffee agribusiness because there are other factors influencing it. This research aims to determine the factors supporting and inhibiting the agribusiness of sustainable Java preanger coffee in the Margamulya village the District of Pangalengan. The research design used is qualitative descriptive with case study method. The results showed that in subsystem agro-input, the main supporting factors are coffee plant seedlings and labor, while the main constraint factors are land, fertilizers, weather, and capital. In the agro-processing subsystem, the main supporting factors are the knowledge of farmers in the cultivation of sustainable coffee and selling prices of coffee, while the constraining factors are among others climate changes, and capital. In the agro-industry subsystem, the main supporting factor is processing technology, while the inhibiting factor is capital and processing equipment. On the agriculture marketing subsystem, the supporting factors are market certainty, while the inhibiting factor is capital. On agri-service subsystem, the main supporting factor is the availability of cooperatives, extension agencies, farmer groups, mass media, while the inhibiting factors are less coordinations between supporting institutions with farmers and the absence of financial institutions that provide credit by the characteristics of coffee farming.
