Startup is becoming a trend in Indonesia. Various success stories from local startups such as Gojek, Tokopedia or Bukalapak, has become trigger for the emergence of new startups. The potential of internet users in Indonesia which is increasing from year to year is also a catalyst for establishing a startup. At an early stage, startup must identify user experience priorities and problems in developing software product phase. This chapter describes work in progress on a shortened version of Design Sprint approach, and its application to designing Software product in Startup. Google Ventures initially introduced Design Sprint to tackle critical business problems and come up with viable solutions within five days.
Language is a means to communicate. The expressions in the world are diverse, one of which is sign language. There are two types of sign languages in Indonesia, namely BISINDO (Indonesian Sign Language) and SIBI (Indonesian Language System). Besides that, few people know the sign language, and the method used still uses conventional or manual methods so that it feels challenging to communicate with people who are deaf speech. This study aims to develop sign language learning applications using multimedia systems that expected to help people with hearing impairment and hearing impairment, the general public, and teachers in communicating with speech deaf people. In this study, using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle research method, Alpha testing with Black Box testing and beta testing as an application testing method to measure user satisfaction. The results of research using beta testing is an android-based sign language learning application suitable for the general public, and the deaf equipped with evaluation features and delivery of material in the form of video.
This paper discusses the business process modeling at Donat Madu Cihanjuang, the purpose of this research is to model the business process using BPMN to improve in terms of service for consumers, starting from literature study and data collection through interview. Further modeling and simulation of current business processes using BPMN, problem analysis, modeling and simulation of proposed business processes and comparison of results. The method used is Business Process Improvement (BPI) approach. The results obtained are proposed modeling new business processes in improving services to customers (consumers).
This study discusses the design of digital monitoring system to monitor prospective new students, the aim of which is to measure the quantity of prospective new students and as a media to help decision making in the future. The method used in this study is the Mobile Development Life Cycle. In building an application on cellular, there is an examination called process, the process in software development is called Software Development Life cycle which functions to check the whole phase in MDLC which includes the Inception, Design, Development, Stabilization, Deployment phases. Apart from the process, there is also a consideration when building a mobile application is checking the influence on the development of the cellphone itself. The results obtained from this study are prospective student data including contact numbers that can be followed up by the admissions committee.
This study discusses the proposed information system design for the Mosque Prosperity Council. This SI is expected to facilitate every management, such as recording asset information, cash management information, and religious activities. The purpose of this research is in addition to reducing the control of the mosque organization as well as to facilitate the delivery of information to the local community because this system is designed how the data can be accessed anywhere and anytime without time limits and to support this, one of them is by integrating it on a website. The method used in this research is to use the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop a software system, which consists of several stages, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and management, that form a workflow for planning and controlling. Information Systems. The result of this research is the application of the SI website, which helps facilitate the management of the Mosque Prosperity Council and increasing the ease with which the public can receive all this information.
