This study aims to empirically examine the effect of macroeconomic variables on financial performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The research sample used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 18 state-owned companies in Indonesia in 2017-2019. While the data analysis uses SmartPLS with data analysis methods, namely the convergent validity test, descriminant validity, composite reliability, Cronbach's Alpha, goodness test and path coefficient test. Based on the test results, it shows that the independent macroeconomic variables together have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable or financial performance. This is because the T-Statistics value is 5.302 > t table = 1.96 and also the P-Values is 0.000 < 0.05.
