The research purpose to investigate effect of mychorriza and phosphor dosage on growth and yield of soybean. The research was conducted in field experimental of Agriculture and Animal Science Faculty of State Islamic Univesity of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau started from April to July, 2015. The planting media was peat soil with a pH of 4,79 and seeds used black soybean Mallika Varieties .The research was used Randomized Block Design with two factorials and four replications, the first factor was the dosage phosphor e.g. 0, 75, 150 kg/ha whereas the second factor was mychorriza consisted of 0, 20, 40, 60 g/polybag. The following parameter were observed e.g plant heigh, persentase mycorrhiza infection, number and weight of root nodules, number of pods/plant, number of seed/plant, weight dry seed/plant, weight dry plant, weight dry root, time of flowering and age of harvest time. The result showed that mychorriza application did not increased phsophor efficiency on soybean yield. Without mychorriza and phosphor 150 kg/ha increased shott-root ration at 80 days after planting.
Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience due to tissue damage, either actual or potential or described in the form of damage. Provision of therapeutic doses of analgesics relieve pain or suppress. Plants Imperata cylindrica L. Beauv empirically used as traditional medicine. The purpose of this study to know the analgetic effect of root ethanol extract of alang-alangImperata cylindrica L. Beauv. This study was done by infra red (IR) plantar test method with a wavelength of 96 nm. Twenty male mice were divided into 4 groups. Three groups were given ethanol extract of Imperata cylindrica L. Beauv branches at a doses of 15 mg/kg bb, 30 mg/kg bb 60 mg/kg bb and one group was given 0,5% CMC Na (control) orally. After that, the time (second) hold infra red induction of pain every 10 minutes to 60 minutes. The data obtained were processed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and followed test the level of 95%. The results of phytochemical screening Imperata cylindrica L. Beauv is alkaloid, flavonoid, and steroid/triterpenoid. Ethanol extract Imperata cylindrica L. Beauv dose of 15 mg/kg bb average induction able to withstand pain of 12,86; 14,34; 15,44; 19,2; 17,52; 15,42 second, the dose of 30 mg/kg bb 13,6; 17,08; 19,82; 18,44; 16,9; 16,48 second, and a dose of 60 mg/kg bb 16,96; 18,9; 18,94; 22,14; 18,0; 17,26 second.
Jackfruit leaf is (Artocarpus heterophyllus L) is one of the natural ingredients that can be used as a therapeutic treatment of acne. To facilitate is use the extract is made in the form of a cream. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of anti-acne cream jackfruit leaf extract against propionibacterium acne with concentrations of 30%, 50%, 70%, and 90%. Compounds that act as antibacterials on jackfruit leaves include flavonoids, tannins, saponins. This research method is an ANOVA one way method. The extraction method used is the maceration method. The tests include physical stability test and anti-acne activity test. Physical preparation stability test is carried out every 6 days for 3 weeks. While the anti acne activity observation test was carried out on bacteria of Propionibacterium acne. Based on organoleptic observation got formulations 1 and 2 there was no change, while 3,4,5 there was a change. Anti acne activity test showed that formulations 1 and 2 were more effective than formulations 3, 4, 5 with average inhibition zone of 9,5 mm.
One of the fruits in Indonesia that can be used in the cosmetic sector is watermelon. Its red color indicates the high content of lycopene, a natural pigment as a coloring agent in decorative cosmetic formulations, especially blusher. The purpose of this study was to determine whether watermelon extract can be used as a dye in blusher preparations and to determine the formulation of watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) blusher does not cause skin irritation when used. The extract was obtained by maceration using 96% ethanol. The blush formula uses dye from watermelon with a concentration of 15%, 20%, and 25%. The evaluation of preparations includes homogeneity, organoleptic, irritation test, pH test. The results showed that homogeneity, organolepti, and pH of the preparation remained stable for 14 days of storage. The results of the irritation test did not show any irritation.
