A digital library is a type of information retrieval (IR) system. The existing IR methodologies generally have problems on keyword searching. Some of search engine has not been able to provide search results with partial matching and typographical error. Therefore, it is required to be able to provide search results that are relevant to keywords provided by the user. We proposed a model to solve the problem by combining the spell correction and query expansion. Searching is starting with indexing the title of the document by preprocessing the title of all incoming document data and then weighting the Term Frequency -Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) against all terms of the whole document. Levenshtein Distance algorithm is used in the search process to correct typo-indicated keywords. Before calculating the relevance between the keywords and the documents using Cosine Similarity, the keywords are expanded using Query Expansion to increase number of documents retrieved. Calculation results using Cosine Similarity are then added to Query Expansion weight calculation to get final ranking result. Results show improvements over IR system compared with system without spell check and query expansion. The results of the study in the form of web-based application conducted testing for 50 times with number of data of 2,045. The system was able to correct typo-indicated keywords and search documents with average recall value of 95.91%, average precision value of 63.82% and average Non Interpolated Average Precision (NIAP) value of 86.29%.
The Javanese language has various forms of affixed words. It makes people from other regions find it difficult to understand the Javanese language. One of the ways to understand the Javanese language is by studying and understanding Javanese vocabulary in the Javanese language dictionary or learning directly from ones who master the Javanese language. Both offline and online dictionaries have not been able to translate affixed words. This research used Nazief and Adriani Algorithm to find out the stems/root words in the Javanese language. The objective of this research is to apply the Nazief and Adriani Algorithm in stemming affixed words in the Javanese language. The subject discussed in this research is the application of stemming affixed Javanese words by using Nazief and Adriani algorithm. The stages started with identifying the affixes in the Javanese language. Nazief and Adriani algorithm has five steps those are detecting words that have affixes, cutting words that contain inflection suffixes, derivation suffixes and derivation prefixes, and last recording. The result of this research is a stemming application for affixed Javanese words that applies Nazief and Adriani algorithm method. Based on the accuracy test, it appears that 93.6% of words are accurate from the total of 219 words tested.
Clinic is one of the businesses that perform health services for people in the surrounding environment. The clinic also provides medicines that will be given to patients who conduct health checks. The problem that occurs in these clinics is that the medicine data recap is only using excel data, the purchase of medicine stocks that are conducted only based on medicine that out of stock. Based on an interview with one of the nurse at a clinic on Yogyakarta site, occassionally, there are a case that a surge of patient that running out medicine supplies, while on the other hand there are lots of medicine accumulation occurred because these medicines was not needed by the patient. This is because the clinic has not been able to predict the medicine that are often issued by the clinic. Therefore, this research aims to build a data mining program with the Temporal Association Rules method for determining the relationship between medicines which is accompanied by the date of release of the medicine. The method used in this research is Temporal Association Rules with the Apriori Algorithm to find association rules that meet the support and confidence limits, and in the testing process lift ratio is used. The results of this research are applications that able to provide information on patterns of medicine data associations and the date of medicine's release. The test results with 8186 amount of data and support value 50% and confident value 70% with lift values above 0, the patterns of association rules obtained is 6.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
