Research on the analysis of the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance using the population of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling was done by purposive sampling method as many as 65 companies. This study wants to see the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis obtained that Ha is accepted, namely institutional ownership has a positive effect on financial performance. While the hypothesis for the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors and the size of the company shows that H0 is accepted, namely the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors, and the size of the company does not have a positive effect on financial performance
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris apakah strategi diversifikasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan pada perusahaan Food And Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014 - 2017. Dalam penelitian ini variabel strategi diversifikasi diproksikan dengan Hierschman Herfindah Index (HHI). Kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan Economic Value Added (EVA). Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Food And Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi sederhana dan menggunakan SPSS sebagai alat penguji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis ditolak sehingga ini menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel strategi diversifikasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan Food and Beverages.
Background: Healthcare spending has serious social and economic consequences for familie, such as financial constraints and psychological distress. Expenditure caused by obstetrics complications has an impact on total household spending. One person’s health expenditure can influence their family members’ welfare. Aims: This study analyzed health expenditure of patients experiencing preeclampsia, eclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhages. Methods: This study utilized a descriptive observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 135 women who gave birth in November to December 2018. Multistage random sampling was used since the respondents were selected from regions of Surabaya. Results: Respondents of pregnancy and delivery complication with catastrophic health expenditure was eclampsia suffered by 40 respondents, 71 respondents with medium income financing Rp3,800,000.00, 64 respondents with medium household expenditure (monthly income of Rp2,001,000.00 - Rp3,000,000.00). As many as 62 respondents had social security agency for health without contribution beneficiaries, 62 respondents had one employed family member, and 66 respondents had 5-7 family members. Conclusions: The majority of respondents in Surabaya in 2019 experienced a 10% increase of total household expenditure while undergoing treatment. The government continues to increase subsidies for health service facilities that mostly serve the indigen population.
The role of women in improving the family economy is not in doubt. The increasing need demands an increase in the income that the family must earn. With the improvement of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, it can boost the performance of women who have limited time in promoting their businesses. This entrepreneurship training invites participants to increase promotion in overcoming and participating in business competition. Participants are also invited to be able to use their income to start investing for business development. From the health side, the participants were invited to identify good habits and bad habits. To increase creativity, participants are invited to develop the use of mineral drink bottle caps so that they become marketable products. The method used in this service is by holding a training / workshop where the participants will receive material from the speaker / instructor and be actively involved in activities.
This study aims to prove the effect of training, skill in using technology, and level of education to productivity of women enterpreneur in Palembang. This study is conducted with quantitative method using primary data through a survey of women enterpreneur in Palembang. Totally 50 questionnaires are distributed to the women enterpreneur while there are only 42 (84%) complete questionnaires used in this study. The data analyses technique use validity, reliability, test of classical assumption, and hypothesis includes multiple linear regression analysis. The results of study indicate that the training of enterpreneur, the skill in using technology, and level of education gave effect to productivity. Determination Coefficient Test (R ²) shows Adjusted R Square of 0.783. This indicates that 78% of the Productivity variable can be explained by the variables of entrepreneurship training, ability to utilize technology, and education.
