Had been researched by using a multi gamma irradiation method for genetic engineering on local soybean plant from Alor in Kabola Sub-District, Kabola District Alor Regency was done. This research aims to develop local soybean from Alor with multigamma irradiation application to obtain superior varieties that can adapt to low relative rainfall conditions and increased production and determine the appropriate dose to obtain superior soybean varieties, as well as to inventory the superior characteristics of soybean result of multigamma irradiation. The results showed that the exact dosage of soybean crop recovery ranged from 2000 rads-3000 rads. Characteristics would be superior at doses of 3000 rads compared to 2000 rads and 4000 rads. The estimated increase in local soybean production Alor shown at doses of 3000 rads and 2000 rads increased by 47.3% and 42.8% respectively compared to the dose of 4000 rads which reached 23.2%.
