AbstrakMempunyai gambaran/deskripsi mengenai kemampuan pedagogik matematika mahasiswa PGSD merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi pimpinan dan dosen PGSD, khususnya bagi dosen yang mengajarkan mata kuliah pembelajaran matematika. Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menindaklanjuti perkuliahan matematika di PGSD agar dapat menghasilkan calon guru SD yang profesional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian deskriptif analitik yang bersifat eksploratif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pedagogik matematika mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar (SD) penting bagi dosen mata kuliah pembelajaran matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari observasi presentasi kelompok dan simulasi dari setiap mahasiswa dalam kegiatan perkuliahan Pembelajaran Matematika. Dengan demikian informasi arahan untuk menentukan tindak lanjut pengembangan pedagogik matematika agar mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan untuk membelajarkan siswa mengenai materi-materi matematika yang diperoleh secara akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a. kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD FIP Unima dalam merancang pembelajaran matematika SD sudah baik. b. melaksanakan pembelajaran matematika SD yang mendidik dan dialogis sudah baik. c. pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran matematika SD masih perlu ditingkatkan. d. membuat alat evaluasi belajar matematika SD juga masih perlu ditingkatkan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa walaupun kemampuan dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran sudah baik, namun dalam penggunaan media atau alat peraga pembelajaran yang masih kurang. Selain itu juga alat evaluasi belum mencakup ranah afektif dan psikomotor, serta evaluasi ranah kognitif juga masih kurang baik. This research aims to follow up the math lectures at PGSD in order to produce prospective elementary school teachers who are professional. Therefore, explorative analytic descriptive research to develop pedagogic ability of mathematics of elementary school teacher (SD) is important for lecturer of mathematics learning subject. Technique of collecting data obtained from observation of group presentation and simulation of each student in lecturing activity of Mathematics Learning. Thus the direction information to determine the follow-up development of pedagogic mathematics so that students have the ability to membelajarkan students about mathematical materials obtained accurately. The results showed that: a. the ability of PGSD FIM Unima students in designing elementary mathematics learning is good. b. carrying out educational and dialogical mathematics teaching is good. c. the use of mathematics learning technology elementary still need to be improved. d. making the evaluation tool of elementary mathematics learning also still need to be improved. From the results of this study obtained that although the ability in designing and implementing learning is good, but in the use of media or teaching aids are still lacking. In addition, evaluation tools have not included affective and psychomotor spheres, and cognitive domain evaluation is also still not good.
The purpose of this research is to improve the student mathematics learning outcomes through Kahoot learning games application at elementary school. This classroom action research adopted from Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model was conducted in three cycles for the fourth grade as many as 22 students at 02 Public Elementary school in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, in Indonesia. The result of this study shows there is an improvement of students learning outcomes from cycle one to cycle three reaching 64, 72, and 81 from the maximum score of 100. Percentage of teacher and student activities increased from cycle one to cycle three achieving 77, 80, and 86 %. It can be concluded that application of Kahoot learning games can improve the student mathematics learning outcomes at 02 Public Elementary school in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, in Indonesia.
Character is an important aspect that needs to be instilled in students from an early age. However, the coronavirus pandemic has changed the learning process from offline to online so that character formation must be identified whether it is in accordance with before. This study aimed to identify the character-building process of students learning mathematics in elementary schools during the coronavirus pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data were collected through observation (descriptive, focused, and selected), and interviews. The data were analyzed using domain analysis techniques, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and theme analysis. The research subjects consisted of students and mathematics teachers at Elementary schools. The results showed that students formed through online mathematics learning during the coronavirus pandemic were honest, disciplined, and responsible. The psychological impact of physical distancing experienced by teachers and students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The quality of teacher and student relations in learning interactions does not proceed as usual. Various learning strategies strived for teachers to remain productive and professional in carrying out their duties as a teacher and educator. Teacher strategies adapted to the places and conditions of each region has its uniqueness. The learning strategy undertaken by the teacher is influenced by the family spirit that is the hallmark of the Indonesian nation's culture. This study aims to explore the experience of elementary school teachers and analyze the level of participation and supporting factors and constraints experienced by teachers, in implementing learning strategies for elementary school students during COVID-19 pandemic in North Sulawesi. A total of ten teachers who live in rural areas and five teachers who live in urban areas narrate their experiences related to learning strategies in this pandemic period. Teachers in rural areas are more involved than teachers in urban areas, because the number of elementary schools in North Sulawesi is mostly in rural areas. Data was collected using semi-structured interview techniques and analyzed using narrative content analysis. The results of the analysis found that the learning strategy by visiting students directly at home is done by teachers in rural areas because of the shorter distance and relatively short travel time to visit students' homes. Whereas the strategy carried out by teachers in urban areas was more dominant carried out by utilizing virtual facilities through interactions via smartphones and learning with internet-based applications.
