Diabetes is a serious chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin. Quality of life is very important to get serious attention, because the quality of life is something that is closely related to a person's health condition, the severity of the disease, the duration of healing, and can even aggravate the condition of the disease to death if a person has a poor quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and stress with the quality of life of the elderly with type II diabetes mellitus in the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City, 2020. Data collection usedthe questionnaire brought by the researcher to the population elderly people with Type II Diabetes Mellitusin Batam City in 2020. The inclusion criteria are elderly who are willing to be respondents, elderly who suffer from Diabetes Mellitus Type II, elderly who are ≥60 years old, elderly who can communicate well, and elderly who do not experience cognitive impairment. Research respondents involved in this study were 64 respondents. Chi-Square statistical test results obtained value (p value = 0.000 <0.05), indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between family support and stress with the quality of life of the elderly with type II diabetes mellitus in the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City, 2020.
In the inpatient room of the Harapan Bunda Batam hospital nurses complained of excessive workloads and the number of nurses that did not match the number of patients who had to be served. High workload will reduce nurse performance. A good nursing performance will create quality implementation of a quality nursing process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of workload components with the performance of implementing nurses in the inpatient room at Harapan Bunda Hospital in Batam. Descriptive analytic research design, "cross sectional" approach. Data collection was carried out from 5 to 17 January 2015 in total sampling. Data was collected by observation and using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test. The results showed the number of patients treated was not in accordance with the number of nurses, the type of nurse nursing activities were productive, the average time for nursing nurses implementing activities was effective, the performance of implementing nurses was good for, there was a significant relationship between the number of patients, types of activities nursing with nurse nurse performance, but there is no significant relationship between the average time of nursing activities with the performance of nursing nurses in the inpatient room of the hospital. Methods: This article uses analytical research with cross sectional design of 65 elderly in the Sekupang Health Center Work Area. The implementation time for 7 days starts on 4-10 June 2020. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument in this study was a questionnaire HDFSS and PSS. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-Square Test. Results: The results shows that there is a relationship between family support and the incidence of stress in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of Sekupang Health Center (p value 0.002) α = 0.005). It is hoped that elderly families can provide good family support so as not to cause mild stress events in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: (a) Most of the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus did not receive family support with mild stress, amounting to 28 elderly (43.1%). (b) Most of the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellius experienced severe stress events with less supportive family support, amounting to 9 elderly (13.8%). (c) There is a significant relationship between family support and the incidence of stress in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City in 2020, with the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a P-value of 0.002 <0.05.
Kejadian stunting pada balita merupakan salah satu permasalahan gizi secara global. Prevalensi anak stunting di bawah 5 tahun di Asia Tenggara 38%. Indonesia merupakan negara urutan kelima yang memiliki prevalensi anak stunting tertinggi setelah India, China, Nigeria dan Pakistan. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh ibu, pendidikan ibu, dan ASI eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting pada balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian rancangan analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional dan teknik secara simple random sampling melibatkan 60 responden Populasi penelitian ini adalah balita.Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Parenting style Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) dan Asi Eksklusif. Dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai pola asuh ibu (p value = 0,04 < 0,05), pendidikan ibu (p value = 0,00 < 0,05), dan ASI eksklusif (p value = 0,02 < 0,05), menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Pola Asuh Ibu, Pendidikan Ibu, dan ASI Ekslusif Dengan Kejadian Stunting Pada Balita. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian ini adalah Sangat dianjurkan untuk ibu memberikan pola asuh yang baik, dan ASI Eksklusif terhadap balita selama 6 bulan pertama untuk mengurangi resiko terjadinya kejadian stunting pada balita.
