Entrepreneurial orientation is carried out to improve management's ability to deal with market changes. This study examines a new concept of network chain capability that is capable of mediating the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and marketing performance of goods in tourism market. The study also verifies the architectural marketing capabilities and organizational commitment to improve network chain capabilities that have an impact on marketing performance of goods in tourism market. In this study, 6 hypotheses are developed and tested with data collected from 185 respondents in the handicraft industry focused on tourism market. Data are analyzed using AMOS 22.0 statistical software which successfully tested 6 hypotheses with significant results. The study proves that network chain capability is declared feasible as a mediating variable. Managerially, network chain capabilities can be practiced as a marketing tool to improve performance.
Compensation has a high effect on employee retention within a company because with satisfactory compensation, employees will feel that the company is caring about employee needs. This study examines the effect of compensation on employee performance. The study was conducted in the hospitality industry in Medan City, North Sumatra, Indonesia. A total of 200 employees from 5 hotels in Medan City were taken as sample. Data were analyzed by using SMART PLS program. The results show that compensation has a significant positive effect on performance; compensation has a significant positive effect on retention; retention has a significant positive effect on performance; retention mediates the effect of compensation on performance. The result of the research is expected to give different perspective and novelty to the improvement of hotel employee performance in Medan City, North Sumatera.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja Fisik dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Asahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Asahan dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 74 orang dengan menggunakan Total Sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui kuesioner yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada sampel (responden) dan mengumpulkannya kembali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda.Sebelum data diregresikan maka terlebih dahulu di uji keterkaitannya dengan variabel independen datanya dengan uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas.Untuk mengetahui kontribusi factor lingkungan kerja fisik dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai digunakan rumus koefisien determinasi. Diperoleh hasil variabel lingkungan kerja fisik dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Asahan, dimana nilai F hitung = 34,361 > F tabel = 3,12 dengan level of significant (α) 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja fisik dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Asahan. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and working environment on the retention of employees at RAZ Hotel & Convention Medan. The sample in this study amounted to 66 employees. The sampling technique using the entire amount of the population in this study, called the study population. Validity of test results obtained radding ˃ rtable for each item statement and reliability test questionnaire obtained a Cronbach alpha of each variable are: 0.803 for the variable X1, 0,887 for the variable X2 , and 0,821 for the variable Y. This value is greater than the significance level rtable is 0,361. The data analysis technique used mainly in this research is multiple regression analysis with the formula Y = a + b1x1 + b2x2 + e. From the research conducted found Y = 9,020 + 0,324x1 + 0,387x2 + e. With a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,417. Which means the X1 and X2 explain the effect on variable Y of 41,7% while the remaining 58,3% is explained variables outside the company. Rated tadding partial test variable compensation 2,332 ˃ 1,998 that significant values of 0.023 ˂ 0.05. Tadding work environment that 4.716 ˃ 1.998 significant value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. Which means simultaneously variable compensation and work environment partially positive and significant effect on the retention of employees in RAZ Hotel & Convention Medan. The resulting simultaneous test of the calculation is equal to 22,562 with a Ftable = 3,150, which means Fadding ˃ Ftable with level of significant (α) 0,000 ˂ 0.05, which means that the hypothesis is accepted that compensation and working environment together significant effect on employee retention in RAZ Hotel & Convention Medan. The purpose of writing this paper is to determine and analyze how tourist perceptions of the service quality of tourist areas, tourism attractiveness of tourist satisfaction with estuary. The objective of the research was to analyze the competitiveness of tourist destinations in the North Sumatra region as an effort to expand theoretical and empirical evidence about the structural relationships among constructs the impact of tourism development, environmental attitudes, place attachment, development preferences about destination attractions as the resources, and support for a comprehensive strategy to improve competitiveness objectives. To identify and analyze the development of competitiveness of North Sumatra tourism based on visitor perspectives that reflect the services expected by the demand side, the method of data collection and data analysis used in the research on is the quantitative method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the results of research and analysis of the tourist preference indicators of tourist objects in North Sumatra, it was found that in empowering tourist areas with the development of the image of tourist areas in North Sumatra Province, it is necessary to prioritize the development of elements of tourism image builders that contribute greatly, namely human resource development, security and safety, hygiene and health, preferences and prices, and marketing strategies. In addition, to increase the competitiveness of tourist areas, a business climate policy and sustainability of protection, facilities and infrastructure are needed as well as increased tourist attraction.
