Affected strongly by climate change, Mekong Delta faces lots of challenges in the development process. By means of inheritance, synthesis and statistics, and sociological investigation methods, the article has figured out that Mekong Delta is a vulnerable area due to climate change and exogenous factors, such as water security; environmental pollution; degradation of forest resources and biodiversity. It is necessary to establish a long-term framework for climate change adaptation and national security towards sustainable development.
Cu2O NPs/diatomite is a composite material synthesized by chemical reduction method of Cu2+ ion adsorbed on diatomite. Cu2O NPs/diatomite is capable of adsorption of pollutants and microbial treatment, for aquaculture water treatment applications. The study focused on the acute toxicity determination of Cu2O NPs/diatomite material on Swiss white mice by oral tests. The results showed that Cu2O NPs/diatomite was almost non‐toxic with a test dose of 2,000 mg/kg of mice body weight, LD50 could not be determined. Monitoring the mice's activity after 14 days, the mice have normal activities, normal stool, urine, pink mucosa, smooth feather, good reflexes. Thus, with the very low acute toxicity on white mice, Cu2O NPs/diatomite was evaluated a good candidate for aquaculture treatment application.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
