Purpose: an analysis of the competitive activity of men's club handball teams in the final tournament of the European Champions and Champions League Cup gives you the opportunity to determine the rating of the teams on the continent and the development tendencies of the game. Material: the best men's handball clubs from 52 national federations in Europe which competed in the qualifying tournament and the group stages of the draw and were the winners and prize winners of the European Champions and Champions League Cup of 1956/1957-2017/2018. A systematic review of the available qualitative literature was conducted according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews. The “Web of Science”, “Physical Education Index (ProQuest)”, “Google Scholar” and “Scientific Periodicals Ukraine” databases were used in order to ensure, from an early stage, the scientific quality of the revised studies. The research was conducted based on ‘any field’ (e.g. title, abstract, text) and no restrictions were made regarding the language of publication. The terms used in the research were “teams scoring performance”, “elite handball”, “game location”, “players exclusions”, “home advantage”, “quality”, “opposition”, and “indicators”. The quality of the articles was assessed by a set of criteria developed by members of the Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and other specialists. The initial search found 132 journal articles; for a final list of 52 publications. Results: The article covers the organizational aspects of the competitive activity of men's handball clubs in Europe at the European Champions and Champions League tournaments from 1956 to 2018. The given analysis of the highest achievements of the leading handball clubs which are not only winners and prize winners, but also the countries that they represented. The winners and prize winners are marked both between teams of different countries and teams of one country. Conclusions: Achievements and rankings of the leading handball clubs in the international arena are the main components of preparing them for official competitions: new approaches to planning the preparation of players and teams for higher sports achievements and maximum realization of individual opportunities; the integration of the individual readiness of highly skilled handball players into leading handball clubs; to the important aspects of the new rules of the game, which are developed in the theory and implemented in practice; the main tendencies in the international and European handball that systematically develop and apply to a core of players as well as the next reserve.
Background and Study Aim. Aim is to determine the influence of the components of special physical training on the effectiveness of certain elements of the game technique during the competitive activities of beach volleyball athletes. Material and methods. The study involved athletes (n = 20, age - 17-21 years, experience - 8-9 years), who are engaged in beach volleyball (Kherson, Ukraine). Experts (n = 5, work experience - over 20 years) from among the leading volleyball specialists were involved. Training sessions were conducted according to the author’s structure and content of special physical training (preparatory period of the annual cycle). The author's program was to increase the volume of athletic work by 10% (selective classes and integrated work) and 17% (complex classes). The classes used a developed special training device. The device is designed to practice practical game skills. The load at the first stage was 70-80% of the maximum. The load in the second stage was 80-90% of the maximum. Results. Significant (p <0.05) development of explosive power, speed and agility was revealed. There is a significant (p <0,05) increase: in the number of jump serve and spike; improving the quality/number of serve and attack; improving the quality of passing and the number of blocks. Conclusions. The proposed structure and content of special physical training and exercises on a special simulator have significantly increased the level of development of physical qualities. The athlete training program helped to improve the effectiveness of certain technical actions during competitive activities.
Background and Study Aim. To determine the influence of the level of static balance on the competitive activity of athletes aged 17-21 in beach volleyball. Material and Methods. The study involved athletes aged 17-21 years, who play beach volleyball in the Kherson region. The research was focused on the main indicators: the total number of serves, passes, tactical strikes, blocks, and how the development of static balance affects the level of their performance. Results. Acrobatic exercises in training activities for special physical training positively contributed to the increase in the samples of Bondarevsky (p <0.05), Romberg (p <0.05) and Yarotsky (p <0.05). Samples with different nature of the work performed reflect different aspects of static equilibrium: samples of Bondarevsky and Yarotsky most reflect the nature of the work performed during the competitive activities of athletes; Romberg's test only partially corresponds to these indicators. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach significantly affects the performance of competitive activities and is directly related to the quality of tactical strikes, high-level performance in defense and the number of serves. The results of the study indicate the difference in samples with different nature of the work. Overstrain of the vestibular centers can negatively affect the quality of tactical strikes in the attack and blocking.
Background: The paper deals with the problem of sports area management improvement. The aim of the study is to substantiate the specific principles of state and public management, the application of which should be developed and implemented in the State Strategy of Ukraine in relation to high performance sports as a way of realization of the state policy. Methods: literature analysis, analysis of materials from the Internet, content analysis, generalization and analogy, expert evaluation and coefficient of Kendall’s concordance. Results of the study: The findings of content analysis of the Sports and Physical Activity of Ukraine until 2032 Development Strategy, which is used to justify the system of state and public management principles for the development of the sports sphere in Ukraine, are highlighted. The quality of the management principles system has been verified by using an expert evaluation (coefficient of Kendall’s concordance -0.82) Conclusion: content analysis has specified the requirements for the content of the Sports and Physical Activity of Ukraine till 2032 Development Strategy. The system of principles is logically constituted by strategic, tactical and operational principles.
Introduction and purpose of the study. The article is devoted to improving the development of the coordination abilities of young football players at the stage of preliminary basic training. The study of the peculiarities of the level of development of coordination abilities in boys 11-12 years old involved in football, allowed us to develop a methodology for their improvement. It was determined that the importance of coordination of movements and spatial orientation in the activities of modern football players is constantly increasing, which is associated with the need to act in conditions of tough martial arts, non-standard situations, with a shortage of time and space. The hypothesis of the study is the scientific prediction of the possibility of increasing the level of technical preparedness of young football players by improving the methodology for the development of coordination abilities. The purpose of the study is to develop and implement a methodology that is aimed at the development of coordination abilities in players aged 11-12. Material and methods. The study was conducted at the scientific laboratory of the Pridneprovsk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports for three months with the involvement of football players aged 11-12 years KPNZ DYUSSH №2 DMR t. Dnipro. Two groups were taken. The first group - experimental, consisted of 16 people. The second group - the control, consisted of 18 people. Results. The results of the study are to improve the coordination capabilities of young football players, which are caused by the use of the developed methodology for the development of coordination abilities. The research results and the developed methodology for improving the coordination abilities of young football players, as well as the control system can be used in the training process in other sports. It is proved that the use of the technique in the training process contributes to the harmonious development of the coordination abilities of football players at the stage of preliminary basic training. Conclusions. Special tests-indicators of various aspects of coordination abilities were identified and applied. They turned out to be quite capacious, informative and uncomplicated in execution. Their results can be subjected to various types of calculations using mathematical statistics. The proposed experimental technique for the development of the coordination abilities of young football players included the use of complex motor actions associated with developing factors in the training process, such as: performing signal exercises, flipping and turning 360 degrees, and performing techniques using knock down factors. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology was confirmed by the results of repeated testing. The increase in all types of coordination abilities among the players of the experimental group was more significant than among the players of the control group. Keywords: young football players, stage of preliminary basic training, control, technical techniques, coordination abilities.
