In this paper, we present an algorithm for the extrinsic calibration method of rotating laser range finder (LRF). LRF is rotated about one axis using a motor therefore it is required to find the transformation between the motor and LRF to register scanned datum into one coordinate. We use calibration structure consisted of two planes to recover the transformation. Initial value of the transformation is set by hand and exhaustive search on the solution space is done. The fitness of the solution is evaluated using normal vector of the plane on the scene.
Abstract:In this study, the effect of Tb inward diffusion on the magnetic properties of the Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets was studied. After sintering of the magnets, TbF 3 slurries were dip-coated on the surface of the samples, then heat-treatment was followed for TbF 3 diffusion. The element distribution in the magnets and the diffusion profiles of Tb ions were analyzed by an EPMA (electron probe micro-analyzer). Prolonged heat treatment resulted in a deeper diffusion length of Tb ions. Coercivity of the 1 st heat-treated sample showed 21.86 kOe, while that of the 1 st , 2 nd heat-treated and annealed sample revealed 34 kOe.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
