A measurement system is designed and produced to map the flux density of concentrated solar radiation in the focal plane of solar furnace with an indirect method. It includes a Lambertian moving bar, a CCD-camera and flux gauges. The movement of the bar and the image taking and processing are controlled by a computer. An integrated gray image which indicates the relative value of the radiation flux density can be gained, and the distribution of focus solar flux can be determined. The calibration is done with flux gauges placed on the reference point, which relates the grey level to the flux density. The system operates under the online mode. The measurement error is less than 4%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
