Coffee is one of the important commodities in Indonesia. The coffee commodity has strategic potential in the development of the community’s economy. Over time, coffee production in Indonesia has decreased, the average productivity of coffee in Indonesia is only around 600 kg/ha, while the potential for coffee production per hectare can reach 1000 kg/ha. This research was conducted in the Lampung State Polytechnic Coffee crops Experimental Garden, located in Rajabasa Village, Rajabasa District, Bandar Lampung City, in May-October 2021. the tools and materials used in this study were stationery, camera, raffia, meter, thermometer, hygrometer, lux meter, alti meter, coffee clone BP 936, BP 358, and BP 534. This study used a simple 1-factor randomized block design with treatment of 3 superior coffee clones: P1: BP clone 936, P2: clone BP 358, P3: clone BP 534 which was repeated 6 times so that 18 experimental units were obtained. Observational data that has been obtained will be analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at the 5% level. If there is a significant difference (F count > F table 5%), it will be continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) follow-up test with a level of 5%. Based on the results and discussions that have been obtained, it can be concluded that the lowland conditions produce a different climate with the characteristics of the robusta coffee plant, including relatively high temperature, high humidity and high light intensity, while the most adaptive coffee clones in lowland climates are: clone BP 358.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
