The records of the agelenid spider genus Maimuna Lehtinen, 1967 from Turkey are reviewed. A new species, Maimuna anatolica sp. n. is described from Muğla Province, Anatolia. The other two Turkish species of the genus are illustrated and re-diagnosed. Some discrepancies in the different diagnoses of the genus Maimuna are pointed out and discussed.
A new species of the hitherto monotypic spider genus Proislandiana Tanasevitch, 1985 is described from the high altitude belt of Ararat Mountain (Turkey) and Aragats Mountain (Armenia). The genus Proislandiana is reviewed, its taxonomic relationships to the other genera are discussed. The diagnoses of the genus and its type species are revised. The distribution and the zoogeography of the two known Proislandiana species are summarized and discussed.
A new species of the genus Zodarion Walckenaer, 1826, Zodarion imroz spec. nov. is described based on a male from Gökçeada Island, Turkey. A new synonymy is established: Zodarion tireboluensis Danışman & Rubio, 2017 n. syn. = Zodarion abantense Wunderlich, 1980. New taxonomic images of the type specimens (male and female) of Z. abantense are given. Its distribution is summarized and discussed.
