The result of a survey on the disaster-safety industry was published in 2017 for the first time in Korea. Since the result covers only overall estimation of the basic status, further analyses are necessary to evaluate regional characteristics of the industry. Based on the Korea's Industrial Special Classification of Disaster and Safety Industry, 21 divisions are analyzed in five regions to select top five divisions with highest sales using SPSS. The findings from this study will be helpful in fostering and establishing supporting policies for the disaster-safety industry in Korea.
